More fun for the Nokia sets has surfaced in the form of an application called Point&Find. The idea behind it is using your mobile's camera for translation, shopping, and other location-based services by snapping a picture of something which is then processed by your provider's servers and sent back to you. The app will apparently be able to let you shop for things online simply by snapping a picture of something that catches your eye while out in the shops, or give showtimes for films by taking a picture of your local theater. Menu translation is also on the table as an added function, we're thinking this would be a pretty handy tool, if for no other reason that not making you look foolish and unworldly in front of a date.

诺基亚称这项新技术名为“Point&Find（指出与发现）”，它使用了GPS、图片识别和人工智能来提高精确度。他们已经为NOKIA95模型机扫描和翻译了9000多个中文汉字（从图片上看貌似只有繁体字）和600多个日语文字。只要你在下馆子的时候或者逛街的时候看到有不认识的外语时，你就可以用手中的N95把图片拍下来，然后使用诺基亚的新技术把这些外语翻译成中文。
另外，这一功能还有一个很强的优点。例如你在逛街时看到一件靓衫，但你觉得它的价格太贵了，那么你可以把这件衣服的图片拍下来，然后你的N95就会自动在网上搜索出相对便宜的价格。
如果诺基亚的这项新技术成功问世，那么我只能对苹果再说声抱歉，因为我对诺基亚的偏爱又加深了一层，而iPhone……我不买了！
